Despite economic challenges that limited local healthcare options, Clinica Zamoras expanded its services and equipment, aiming to empower the community by providing affordable healthcare locally. This effort has positioned them as a leader in healthcare services in their region, bridging the gap for those who previously had limited access to medical care.
Clinica Zamoras expanded its services to include x-ray diagnostics, led by radiologist Dr. Leia de Laerna and supported by radtech Richard Anthony Po. This addition enhanced the clinic's capabilities, providing comprehensive medical care locally.
Clinica Zamoras began offering drug testing services, crucial for job and licensing requirements.However, in 2006, the clinic ceased these services due to unethical demands from the Land Transportation Office. Clinica Zamoras took a principled stand against corruption, advocating for patient rights and upholding the clinic's integrity. She addressed letters to the Department of Health and the Land Transportation Office, asserting their stance and discontinuing the service in protest.
Roesan Tiago joined as the new pathologist, ensuring continuity of diagnostic expertise following the departure of Dr. Anil, whose family relocated to the United States.
